Our Story

From Tony: "I met Tyler in the mobile recording studio behind the Electric Church at the end of 2017. He was helping the studio owner, Remy, record an absurd amount of live bands that were coming through. I had met Remy some months earlier at South Austin Brewery when she approached me, after my band’s set, to invite us to the studio, so randomly coming across her again, in a psych rock setting, grabbed my interest. I immediately became involved with her studio and plans evolved such that Tyler, his partner (Sarah), and I built out our own mobile studio: The Truck Studio. It went to various venues for shows/festivals, then landed where we started, The Electric Church. After a stint there, we went on to The Far Out (in late 2019), a budding music venue where we served as backstage green room for larger artists coming through. I bought a house down the street from the venue, but covid immediately shut down the live music for a while. So, in late 2023 I took a leap of faith and had a studio built out into the first floor of my new home. Huge project. Once the construction was finished, and the dust settled, Tyler and I were back in the studio again, in this new space, "Bombero", welcoming new bands/projects by Spring 2024."
